چکیده
Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) are ubiquitous environmental pollutants in sediments and pose a serious risk for freshwater ecosystems. In this study, sediment samples from 24 sites were collected the cyanobacterial bloom-occurring, macrophyte-growing lake bay adjoining river of Taihu Lake. Here, concentration levels, sources, assessment 16 priority PAHs surface typical algae, macrophyte Lake, investigated, results compared with those previous studies. The total PAH (?PAH) concentrations ranged 4900 to 16,800 ng·g?1 Lake 5736.2 69,362.8 river. level riverine was significantly higher than bay, that Dongshan River Mashan River, while there no significant difference between bloom-occurring zone. indicated petroleum contamination dominated derived combined combustion including wood, coal combustion, according identification by molecular diagnostic ratio principal component analysis (PCA). Sediment based on quality guidelines (SQGs) suggested partial regions subjected potential ecological 3-ring 5-ring PAHs, existed negative effects related naphthalene pollutant all survey regions. showed high risk.

Distribution, sources and ecological risk assessment of heavy metals in surface sediments from Lake Taihu, China
The distribution, sources and ecological risk of heavy metals in surface sediments from Lake Taihu were studied. Results showed that the measured heavy metals had varied spatial distribution patterns, indicating that they had complex origins and controlling factors. Pearson’s correlation analysis revealed that the total phosphorus and the loss on ignition were positively correlated with the mea...

متن کاملDistribution of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in sediments from Yellow River Estuary and Yangtze River Estuary, China.
Surface sediment samples collected from twenty-one sites of Yellow River Estuary and Yangtze River Estuary were determined for sixteen priority polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) by isotope dilution GC-MS method. The total PAH contents varied from 10.8 to 252 ng/g in Yellow River Estuary sediment, and from 84.6 to 620 ng/g in Yangtze River Estuary sediment. The mean total PAH content of Ya...
